As a photographer, I have many demands on weather. Some snow would be nice. A hint of purple would make the sunrise perfect. Low tide will make the water smoother. More clouds can never hurt. But then, nature doesn't always listen to my demands. She decides what she wants to do and I end up taking what I get. Waking up at 4:30am twice on a weekend is never fun, but hanging out with a close friend, freezing in the cold, and admiring the quiet yet dramatic sunrise through my lens never ceases to amaze me.

And it's peaceful. No one stands between me and the Sun.
